MRV Loses CFO

Chatsworth-based MRV Communications said Thursday afternoon that it has appointed Guy Avidan, currently VP and General Manager of MRV International, as acting Chief Financial Officer, after the firm's current CFO resigned. MRV said that Kevin Rubin, its current CFO and Corporate Compliance Officer, resigned to accept the position of CFO with another company. MRV said that Rubin will remain with the firm until August 2nd to assist with the transition. Before MRV, Avidan previously served as VP Finance and CFO of Ace North Hills, which was acquired by MRV.
