    Siafu Software Acquired By Hifn

Poway-based Siafu Software, a developer of low-cost, iSCSI storage appliances, has been acquired by Hifn. Hifn said Monday that it acquired the business of Siafu, but did not disclose financial terms of the deal. The firm said that the firm will continue to support Siafu's existing channel organization and customers, and will "take full advantage" of the Siafu's software team. Hifn is a provider of data encryption and compression tools.
