8e6 Adds Enterprise Security Products

Orange, California-based 8e6 Technologies, a company which produces web filtering software, said Monday that it has made three new enterprise-level products generally available. The products include a proxy server blocker, a filtering client for laptops, and a monitoring applications. Most notable among the releases is the firm's ProxyBlocker product, a proxy server blocker which addresses the problem of Web-based proxies, software applications which are used by Internet users to bypass controls on web access.
