WSCN Gets Funding From InterMedia

Los Angeles-based World Championship Sports Network (WCSN) announced Monday that it has receive a new round of private equity funding from InterMedia partners. Size of the investment was not disclosed. WCSN operates a broadcast and online network featuring sports programming. The funding will go towards the company's live sports coverage. WCSN last announced a round of funding in March of 2006, when the firm announced it had added funding from Polaris Venture Partners and Pisces Fund. The firm has also received investments from Major League Baseball Advanced Media.
