International Rectifier's Lidow Resigns

El Segundo-based International Rectifier reported late yesterday that it has lost its CEO, Alex Lidow. The firm said that Lidow has resigned as both its CEO and a director of the firm; no reason for the resignation was given. However, Lidow has been on leave since August due to issues with sales bookings at its foreign subsidiaries, uncovered in an audit earlier this year. Don Dancer continues as IR's acting CEO; the firm also says it has engaged Korn/Ferry for a replacement for Lidow.
