Nexiant Names CEO

Irvine-based Nexiant, a provider of inventory management products, said Thursday that it has appointed Michael J. Hammons as the firm's President and CEO. Hammons takes over from Anton Visser, who will become Chief Marketing Officer of the firm. Hammons joins the company from ARGO Tracker Corporation, where he also served as CEO. He also has been at Cogen Communications Group, BancaDigital, Ernst & Young Consulting, and 3M. Nexiant is a provider of products used to control MRO materials; the firm was formerly known as DispenseSource.
