Napster Signs AT&T

Los Angeles-based digital music service Napster has inked a deal with AT&T Wireless, the firms said over the weekend. At&T said Sunday that its wireless customers will be able to download and search for music using Napster's Mobile service, starting in mid-November. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. AT&T will provide a discounted download plan for its subscribers who use the Napster service. AT&T Wireless currently also provides access to digital music download service eMusic. Napster operates a digital music streaming and download service.
