Xirrus Deploys At Occam

Westlake Village-based Xirrus, a provider of Wi-Fi networking equipment, has signed on fellow hardware manufacturer Occam Networks as a customer. Santa Barbara-based Occam Networks has deployed Xirrus hardware as part of a new building in Santa Barbara. Financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Xirrus said its equipment will provide Wi-Fi coverage of Occam's new 47,000 square foot headquarters. Xirrus, which is venture backed by August Capital and US Venture Partners, develops high speed Wi-Fi networking hardware, which combines multiple wireless access points into a single switched device.
