Fonality Revs PBX Software

Los Angeles-based Fonality, which develops business phone systems based on the open source Asterisk PBX software, said today that the firm has released a new version of the firm's PBXtra phone system. The firm said the new 4.0 version of its software includes mobile features for finding employees on mobile devices, a new plug-in for the Firefox web browser, along with enhancements for helping resellers manage their customers. Fonality is venture backed by Azure Capital Partners, Intel Capital, and Dell.
