    Nirvanix, 3Tera Team On Grid Computing Offering


    San Diego-based storage as a service firm Nirvanix and Aliso Viejo-based 3Tera, a provider of grid computing technology, said today that the two have partnered on a joint offering. According to the firms, the two are in a partnership where they will offer cloud computing services to companies which includes both storage from Nirvanix and virtual appliances from 3Tera. Nirvanix operates an online storage service which can be used by third party developers to store data, video, images, and other files; 3Tera's grid operating systems are used for utility computing.
