Sendio Upgrades Email Appliance
Irvine-based Sendio announced Wednesday that the firm has upgraded the firm's email security appliance, the I.C.E. Box. The firm said that the new version of its email security product adds new support for Domain Keys, which is an email standard used to improve validation of email servers; new support for Spanish; and better reporting of the status of queued messages. Sendio--which is venture backed by Kline Hawkes and Momentum Venture Management--also said it has added a number of performance improvements to the product. Sendio's hardware is used to provide sender authentication and email filtering capabilities to reduce the amount of spam received by companies.
