Island Data Moves North

Island Data, a firm developing business intelligence software, said today that it has relocated its sales, marketing, and executive headquarters from Carlsbad to San Francisco, in conjunction with the appointment of a new CEO. Island Data said it appointed Craig Brennan, former CEO of Bay Area firm Brio Software, as its CEO, and relocate to the Bay Area for access to industry talent, customers, support services, and access to important media outlets. Impact on employees and employment in Southern California was not disclosed.
