Nexsan Rolls New NAS Product

Thousand Oaks-based Nexsan said Monday that it has rolled out a new, network attached storage (NAS) product focused on the small to medium-sized business market. Nexsan said the NAS product, called The Edge, is designed with "green" data storage in mind. The new product implements power management on its product, using what it calls AutoMAID--the ability to automatically power down drives when not needed. The new NAS product supports up to 84TB in a 9U rackmount space. Pricing on the new product was not released.
