Tsavo Hires AOL's Macadaan

Santa Monica-based Tsavo Media, a new startup headed up by Userplane founder Mike Jones, said today that the firm has hired Mike Macadaan as VP of Product and Design. Tsavo--which is currently in stealth mode, but describes itself as delivering "highly relevant experiences to today's digital consumers," said that Macadaan joins the firm from AOL, where he was VP of Design. Macadaan is also known as the founder of Twiistup, a networking group which showcases startups and provides networking. Nate Thelen, co-founder of Userplane, is also at Tsavo, serving as CTO.
