OEwaves Scores Contract

Pasadena-based OEwaves, a developer of microwave photonic filters, has scored a contract to develop filters for military and communications applications, the firm said this week. OEwaves did not disclose the source of the contract, which covers development of frequency agile bandpass and notch filters. The technology is used in military communications applications. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. OEwaves develops products used for radar, communications, and test and measurement products, primarily for the military market. The firm's products are based on technology licensed from the California Institute of Technology and the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
