Lance Armstrong, LiveStrong.com To Provide Updates On Giro D'Italia

Cyclist Lance Armstrong will be providing updates to his bike race at the upcoming Giro D'Italia race this weekend on Livestrong.com, as U.S. television broadcasters are declining to cover the event broadly this weekend. According to Demand Media, Armstrong will provide twice-daily updates on the event from Livestrong, and will also feature videos, blog posts, and other updates on the event. The site is jointly run by Demand Media and Armstrong, and focuses on health and wellness topics. The Lance Armstrong Foundation and Demand Media, which is headed by former MySpace Chairman and Intermix CEO Richard Rosenblatt, inked a deal back in January of 2008 for Demand to create and run LiveStrong.com.
