Smith Micro Gets Win With WiMAX Operator

Aliso Viejo-based Smith Micro Software has been selected by a provider of WiMAX broadband networks, DigitalBridge Communications Corp., the firm reported this morning. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Smith Micro's 4G connection management software will be used by DigitalBridge to manage the rollout of DigitalBridge's WiMAX to markets in Idaho, Indiana, Montana, South Dakota, Virginia and Wyoming. Smith Micro's software is used to manage login to wireless providers.
