SAIL Venture Partners Adds Advisor

Costa Mesa-based SAIL Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused on clean technology, announced Tuesday that the firm has added Joseph J. O'Byrne to the firm's board of advisors. Byrne was most recently a Senior Consultant in Alternative Investments with New England Pension Consultants (NEPC). SAIL said that Byrne had managed marine cargo facilities at several major ports around the U.S. earlier in his career, and has experience with infrastructure investment opportunities, especially those relating to ports, mass transit and the national energy grid.
