Local.com Snags CTO From Martha Stewart

Irvine-based Local.com, a developer of local search sites and business directories, has hired on a new Chief Technology Officer, Michael Plonski. The firm said that it snagged Plonski from Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where he was SVP/Chief Information Officer & Chief Operating Officer, Digital. Plonski has also served at Tribune Company, serving as an exec at Tribune Information Systems and Tribune Interactive. Local.com operates a network of private label, local search sites for finding local businesses.
