Surfware Gets Customer Win

Camarillo-based Surfware, a developer of CAD/CAM software, announced Friday that the firm has signed the School of Engineering at the University of Alabama, Birmingham (UAB) as a customer. The firm said that the company is the 25,000 seat of the firm's software, which is used for designing milling plans for computer-aided-manufacturing systems. The firm's software helps guide hardware for machining parts. Surfware was founded in 1988.
