Vitesse Links With Dune Networks

Camarillo-based Vitesse Semiconductor and Dune Networks said this morning that the two firms have completed interoperability and co-simulation efforts between the companies. According to the two, their two products have gone through "extensive" device interconnect interface interoperability, allowing their telecom OEM cusomers to shorten their design schedules and increase possibility of first-time success on Ethernet switches and routers. Dune develops packet processing semiconductors; Vitesse makes Gigabit Ethernet PHY and MAC chips.
