Yardi Buys Energy Billing Systems

Santa Barbara-based Yardi Systems, a developer of real estate management software, announced Monday afternoon that it has acquired Energy Billing Systems, a provider of utility management services to the multifamily housing industry. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Yardi said the buy adds billing and metering services as part of its offerings. Energy Billing Systems is based in Colorado Springs, and was founded in 1981.
