Telscape Communications In Recap

Monrovia-based Telscape, a competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) and wireless service provider serving the Hispanic market, has been recapitalized, according to investment bank Gemini Partners. Financial details of the recap were not disclosed by the firms. Telscape provides local, long distance, and international calling services to about 75,000 residential customers in Southern California and Nevada, and has over 180 employees.
