SAIC Buys Virginia Firm

San Diego-based Science Applications International Corporation said this morning that it has acquired Science, Engineering and Technology Associates Corporation (SET), a firm commercializing information technology. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. SET is based in Arlington, Virginia, and was founded in 2002 by scientists affiliated with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
