PacketVideo Adds Firefox, Mac Support

San Diego-based PacketVideo, a developer of multimedia networking products, announced today that the firm has added support for Firefox and Mac users in its latest release of its TwonkyBeam software. PacketVideo's software is used for streaming media to home consumer electronics devices. The firm said the software allows users to take media from sites such as YouTube, Flickr, and Last.fm and stream them to various consumer electronic devices. PacketVideo is a subsidiary of NextWave Wireless.
