CALIENT Technologies Names Two To Board

Santa Barbara-based CALIENT Technologies said Tuesday that it has appointed two new members to its board of directors. The firm, which develops MEMs-based optical switching technology, said it has added Mike CHandler and Edgar Masri to its board. Chandler was formerly president of General Dynamics Information Technology, and also served with the U.S. Navy. Masri is CEO and President of Qualtre, and also was CEo of 3Com and a venture capitalist at Matrix Partners, where he was general partner. CALIENT recently landed $10M in new funding for the firm.
