Active Network In Deal With Australian Firm

San Diego-based Active Network, which operates online sports and events registration websites, said this morning that it inked a deal with Australian event organizer USM Events. The two firms said that Active Network will streamline USM EVENTS online technology and registration process. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The firms said that 250,000 people participate in USM's events each year, including Australia's Noosha Triathlon Multi Sports Festival. Active Network provides an online software-as-a-service used for recreation and event registrations.
