RightScale Gets $25M For Cloud Computing Software

Santa Barbara-based RightScale, a developer of cloud computing management software, announced this morning that it has raised $25M in a new round of funding. The third round of funding was led by Tenaya Capital, and also included DAG Ventures, Benchmark Capital, Index Ventures, and Presidio Ventures. According to the firm, the new funding will go towards accelerating development of its products. RightScale's software allows enterprises to manage deployment of both public and private clouds. The funding brings the company's total raised to around $42.5M across three rounds. More information »
