GotCast Powers Casting Search For Food Publication

Los Angeles-based GotCast, the online casting call firm headed by Alec Shankman, said today that it has been selected by Food & Beverage Magazine to power an online casting search for the magazine. GotCast said that the casting call is for a new female spokesmodel for the publication. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. GotCast has been powering a number of online casting calls for various networks, studios, web sites, and others; the firm's site allows anyone to submit themselves to casting calls. Shankman was previously Head of Alternative Programming at Abrams Artists Agency.
