Quality Systems Buys CQI Solutions

Irvine-based Quality Systems, a developer of electronic health records and other health-related IT products, said Wednesday that it has agreed to acquire CQI Solutions, a provider of surgery information systems. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Quality Systems said that CQI will becomepart of its wholly owned subsidiary, NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc. CQI was based in New Braunfels, Texas.
