HipGeo Ties With Vagabondish

Los Angeles-based HipGeo, the developer of location-aware mobile apps that allow users to log their travels, is announcing today that it has partnered with Vagabondish, a news website focused on offbeat travel news and advice. HipGeo said that users can download HipGeo, enter a special code, and blog to their Vagabondish blog to win various prizes. The tie allows users to upload their pictures using HipGeo to a pool to share with other Vagabondish users. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. HipGeo is backed by Morado Venture Partners and Galen Buckwalter, the former Chief Scientist of eHarmony, along with angel Robert Bingham.
