Santa Monica-based LifeCrowd, the social activity discovery site headed by Bong Koh, said Friday that it has expanded into three new regions, and launched officially out of Los Angeles accelerator MucherLab. The startup said it has launched into San Francisco, Orange County, and San Diego, in addition to Los Angeles, and is also now part of the MuckerLab accelerator. LifeCrowd operates an online site which makes it easier for users to find group activities, such as classes and activities. The idea behind the site is to help users connect with others, find activities to do with friends, and meet new people. LifeCrowd has been offering up its service in Los Angeles since September. MuckerLab is headed by Erik Rannala.
