Citrix Online Acquires Podio

The Santa Barbara-based online services arm of Citrix is expanding its suite of software, after Citrix said this morning that it is acquiring Podio, a developer of collaborative work software for business teams. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed by the companies. Citrix said it will use Podio to bolster its GoTo line of cloud services. Those products--GoToMeeting, GoToAssist, GoToWebinar, and other products--are all developed and managed out of Citrix Online Services in Santa Barbara.
