Health In Reach Merges With PriceDoc

Health marketplace firm Health In Reach, which is led by Scott Sangster, has merged with competing health marketplace PriceDoc, the two firms annoucned this morning. According to the two, they will continue to operate as Health In Reach, and be headed by Sangster. Health In Reach is an online marketplace which allows consumers to find physicians, dentists, and others, gaining access to the costs of specific medical and dental procedures, particularly for those paying out-of-pocket for their medical expenses. The firm said it is now offering up more than 1.6 million appointments a month, and offers up pricing for 50,000 procedures. The companies said they have raised a total of $6M from investors to date. Sangster is a well known Tech Coast Angel, and founded Health In Reach as part of his OrganicStartup accelerator.
