A report today says that the hugely successful flight and mission by SpaceX may open up the doors for that firm to gain a new customer: the U.S. military. The report, from Reuters, says that the third successful flight by SpaceX means that the firm has met one of the first requrements to fly military satellites into space. SpaceX already has a long line of satellite launches in its books, and the firm recently announced a plan to launch large satellites into space for Intelsat, with a new rocket currently under development, the Falcon Heavy. SpaceX, which is based in Hawthorne, California, is headed by technology mogul Elon Musk.
