The newest bidder for Aliso Viejo-based Quest Software is likely Dell Computer, according to multiple reports Friday. Quest said on Thursday that it had received a $2.15 billion offer from an undisclosed bidder to acquire the company. Quest--which already has a deal to be acquired by Insight Venture Partners--did not announce the name of the bidder yesterday. The report came via Reuters.
