Nimble Trumpets Revenue Growth, Users

Santa Monica-based Nimble, the developer of cloud-based, customer contact management software headed by former Goldmine founder Jon Ferrara, said this week that it has been doubling its month over month revenue since launching its paid platform, and now has over 40,000 registered users. The firm--which did not disclose any actual revenue numbers--develops a cloud-based product which helps users track their business contacts, including emails, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+, and other social service. Nimble's product is geared towards uses such as tracking sales leads and business contacts, investors, customers, and more. Ferrara helped pioneer the original CRM industry with Goldmine, which---along with competitor ACT--was heavily used by sales people to track contacts, prospects, leads, and sales progress on their personal computers. Nimble is looking to step into the void in similar packages built for the new world of social networking sites and the Internet.
