Hulu Adds Nickelodeon Titles To Hulu Plus

A new deal by Los Angeles-based Hulu this morning will add content from Nickelodeon to Hulu's premium service, Hulu Plus. The Nickelodeon deal brings titles such as "iCarly," "Big Time Rush," "VICTORiOUS," "How to Rock," "Supah Ninjas," "SpongeBob Squarepants," "Kung Fu Panda," "Penguins of Madagascar," "Winx Club," "Robot & Monster," "The Legend of Korra," "T.U.F.F. Puppy," and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" to Hulu for the first time. Hulu said the deal is part of an expansion of an existing, content deal the company has with Viacom. Hulu said that the deal will also bring content from Tr3s, Viacom's Latino music station, to Hulu Latino. Financial details of the deal was not disclosed. Hulu already has a deal with Viacom which covers such content as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, and a number of other titles, which are available on Hulu.com for free; that deal also includes programming from BET, COMEDY CENTRAL, MTV, SPIKE, TV Land and VH1, which is available only on Hulu Plus.
