Rexter Finds Funding To Help Professionals Manage Relationships

A new, Altadena-based startup, Rexter, has scored some funding to help it build its software algorithms and tools to help manage a user's professional relationships. The company--co-founded by Andy Wilson (Momentum Venture Partners, Yahoo) and John Slade (Yahoo)--apparently recently raised a round which included Siemer Ventures. Other investors in the company have not been announced. Rexter's advisors notably include Dr. Galen Buckwalter (founder of eHarmony), Kamran Pourzanjani (Pricegrabber), Jim Armstrong (Clearstone Ventures), Ted Meisel (Overture/Elevation Partners), Sean Moriarty (Mayfield/Ticketmaster), Paul Weiskopf (Adobe), Jarl Mohn (Liberty Digital), and Todd Tappin (Gores Group). Wilson and Slade both were at Overture, helping to build up that company before Yahoo acquired the company; Wilson has been applying his operational experience in years since at Momentum helping companies get funded and ramping their business.
