Nimble Opens API

Santa Monica-based Nimble, the developer of web-based, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, said today that it has launched a new application programming interface (API) and application marketplace. The firm said the new API makes it easier for developers to connect any sales, marketing, customer service, or accounting platform with Nimble. Nimble's software-as-a-service helps users track their personal contacts including email, Twitter, Facebook, and other social interactions. The company said the new API is the first in a family of APIs to help developers create applications using Nimble's platform.
