SGN In Real Money Betting Deal With Betable

SGN, the developer of social and mobile games, said today that it is adding real money gambling to its games, via a partnership with legal gambling API provider Betable. SGN said a selection of its games will be powered by Betable in certain overseas markets. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. SGN said it will begin activating gambling in a selection of its mobile titles in overseas markets, beginning in the first half of 2013. SGN did not say which games it intends to add gambling to first. SGN is led by Chris DeWolfe, one of the co-founders of MySpace. The firm is venture backed by Austin Ventures.
