BlackLine Systems Ties With Professional Services Firm

BlackLine Systems, the developer of financial software used for automating financial close processes at companies, said it has linked with Los Angeles-based professional services firm The Goetzman Group. According to BlackLine, the link will provide its accounting and finance software along with professional services to large organizations in the Southern California region. The two companies said that the two already have entered into a strategic alliance, where The Goetzman Group will provide experienced accounting and finance personnel to assist in implementation of Blackline's software.

Financial details of the alliance were not announced. The companies said they already have a number of clients in common, including CBRE Group and The Decurion Corporation (parent of Pacific Theatres Entertainment, ArcLight Cinema Company and Robertson Properties Group). BlackLine, which is headed by Therese Tucker, develops financial software used for automating the financial close process, for balance sheet account reconciliation, and more.
