Hulu Revives All My Children, One Life to Live

Fans of the once-cancelled soap operas "All My Children" and "One Life To Live" have a good reason to cheer today, as Hulu, the streaming video service based in Los Angeles, said it would bring the two soap operas to the service. Hulu said the revival of those titles come as part of an agreement with Prospect Park's The Online Network (TOLN). The two said that they will stream all new episodes of the two soaps on both the free Hulu.com and Hulu Plus subscription service, with 30 minute episodes introduced each weekday. The new content development effort is being funded by private equity firm ABRY Partners; Prospect Park said it has closed a financing with ABRY Partners as part of the deal. Financial details of that investment were not disclosed. Both of the soap operas had been cancelled two years ago by ABC.
