BLANKSPACES Aims At Downtown LA With Crowdfunding Effort

BLANKSPACES, one of the original coworking spaces in the Los Angeles area, told its supporters today that it is looking to open up a new space in downtown LA--if it can raise enough money through a crowdsourcing effort. BLANKSPACES, in a crowdfunding effort posted on Crowdfunder, said it is looking to raise at least $35,000 to bring coworking to downtown Los Angeles. The company said the funding will add data cabling, Wi-Fi access points, phones, displays, printers, audio-visual, and more to a 7500 square foot space downtown. BLANKSPACES said it would give everything from a shout-out on Twitter, to private office space depending on how much people contribute to the effort.
