NTS Tests NASA Satellite

Calabasas-based National Technical Systems, the test and engineering services provider, said Wednesday that it has been providing the qualification testing for a NASA lunar satellite. NTS said its completed a series of qualification tests on NASA's Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE), which is scheduled for launch in late summer. NTS said it provided testing of the satellite by exposing it to high levels of acoustics, severe vibration levels and intense shock environments, for NASA Ames Research Center. NTS did not say what the testing contract was worth to the company.
