Elon Musk To Unveil Hyperloop This Afternoon

What, exactly, does tech mogul Elon Musk have in mind for Hyperloop--which he says will connect San Francisco and Los Angeles is half an hour? Musk said he will unveil the design for Hyperloop at 1:30pm today (Monday), showing off his brand new transportation system which he has previously described as a "cross between a Concorde, a railgun and an air hockey table." Although the idea of Hyperloop may seem like a far-fetched dream Musk has a number of successes under his belt which have turned sci-fi dreams into reality, including building his own commercial rocket company (SpaceX) and electric car company (Tesla Motors).
