Teledyne Technologies Acquires CETAC

Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne Technologies has acquired laboratory automation and instrument developer CETAC Technologies, the company annoucned this morning. Financial details of the buy were not announced. CETA, which was headquartered in Omaha, Nebrasca, designs and manufactures automated sample handling and sample introduction equipment for the laboratory instrumentation market. CETAC's equipment is used for elemental and chemical analysis systems, and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) instruments.
