Boingo Wins Major New York Shopping Mall

Los Angeles-based Boingo Wireless continues to grow out its retail Wi-Fi footprint, reporting this morning that it has been selected by shopping center operator Forest City Ratner Companies, to manage free Wi-Fi at Forest City Ratner's high traffic Atlantic Terminal Mall in Brooklyn. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Boingo said it will manage and operate the Wi-Fi network for consumers at the mall. The company said the Atlantic Terminal Mall gets over 40 million visitors a year, and is part of one of New York's busiest mass transit hubs.
