Gratafy Launches Social Gifting In LA

Los Angeles appears to become the hot market for launching your mobile, social startup into the national scene--with dozens of startups recently starting up operations here, including Flywheel, Lyft, H.Bloom, Belly, Delivery.com, and many others. The latest company to make LA the startup of a national expansion is Gratafy, a social gifting startup which lets people buy items from restaurants, including food, drinks, desserts, and more, and send those to friends as gifts. Gratafy said this week it has expanded into Los Angeles, beyond its initial launch market in Seattle. The company said that Los Angeles is its second market, and is starting a national expansion with many other major US cities being launched soon. Gratafy is backed by angel investors.
