AEG Digital Media Taps Amazon For Cloud Video

Los Angeles-based AEG Digital Media, a provider of online broadcast services, said late last night that it has rolled out a new product which uses Amazon Web Services to provide cloud-based, video transport and ingest. AEG Digital Media said the new product is aimed at live video broadcasts being sent via satellite or private fiber networks, and uses AWS for hosting, encoding, transcoding, and content delivery services. AEG Digital Media serves traditional broadcasters and television stations.
